ZORINA
Aljona Zorina is a Full Professor of Information Systems and Digital Innovation. She studies digital innovation and its impacts in distributed and open settings, with prominent topics in her studies being decentralized collectives, sustainability, and surveillance. Her research appeared in leading Management and Information Systems journals, including Organization Science, Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information and Organization, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Long Range Planning, and Organizational Dynamics among others. Aljona is an editorial board member of the Information and Organization and serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS) and guest Associate Editor for MIS Quarterly and JAIS. Her work received awards and nominations from the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, AISWN College, Academy of Management, International Conference of Information Systems, and Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. Her dissertation on digital infrastructure cocreation from the bottom-up received ESSEC Business School Best Dissertation Award and was top 3 Dissertation finalists at the AOM 2013 TIM division.
